The 27th China Yangling Agricultural Hi-Tech Fair (CAF), with the theme “Innovation Leads High-quality Development,” came to an end on October 26.
During the event, the city of Weinan of Shaanxi province set up 14 booths in its 292 square-meter exhibition area, including 11 for displayingachievements in poverty relief, 2 for promoting poverty alleviation products and 1 for livestream sales, showcasing not only special agricultural products but also its latest progress in agricultural and rural reform.

The fair attracted 39 agriculture-related enterprises and specialized farmers’ cooperatives from Weinan. They exhibited 146 marketable, special and high-quality products, such as Fuping dried persimmon, Pucheng crisp pear, Dali winter jujube, Baishuienzymatically fertilized apple, Heyang “red globe” grape and Linwei “sunshine rose” grape, drawing a great deal of attention from visitors.
Meanwhile, livestreaming provides a new way for Weinan to boost poverty alleviation through industrial development. As part of its efforts to explore new promotion modes, counties and districts of the city set up livestream sales areas during the four-day event, displaying farm produce, promoting live commerce and boosting poverty alleviation through consumption.
Figures show that sales through livestreaming exceeded 53,000 yuan on October 22, the first day of the fair, alone.
