The sci-tech development in recent years has fostered new ways of planting in several modern agriculture parks at Yangling Agricultural Hi-tech Industries Demonstration Zone.

Workers there can use mobile apps to monitor real-time data about the pH value of soil, the density of water manure as well as the volume and timing of manure supply. In contrast with their work in the past, they can now easily manage multiple vegetable greenhouses with just one smart phone.

So far, Yangling’s agricultural big-data service platform has set up 50 demonstration bases in 24 regions of 11 provinces, cities and autonomous regions. It has stored over 5.2 billion pieces of agriculture-related data, able to provide remote diagnosis and consultation, standardized production guidance, source tracing, technology intermediary service among other specific agricultural services.

To better serve the development of digital agriculture, the Yangling demonstration zone has launched China (Yangling) Agricultural Digital Valley Project, aiming to further promote industrial clusters in the agriculture-related digital economy and create new forms of agriculture.

Meanwhile, this brand new development mode of digital agriculture will also be introduced to other countries through agricultural training courses provided by the Yangling demonstration zone, expected to provide them with a demonstration of agricultural development.
