On May 4, 2020, Wang Hongqian, secondary inspector of the Department of International Cooperation of the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Affairs, conducted research on the construction of SCO agricultural base.
Wang Hongqian with other people visited in Yangling and acquired detailed knowledge of Yangling’s development of cross-border e-commerce logistics, foreign-aid training, SCO agricultural base construction, modern agricultural development and helping farmers start their own business and innovate.
Wang Hongqian said that Yangling Agricultural Hi-tech Industrial Demonstration Zone has borne fruit in foreign-aid training, base construction, foreign exchanges and cooperation in the past year. He hoped that this demonstration zone could give a full play to its advantage of boasting abundant resources in agriculture, science and technology, and education so as to raise the level of exchanges of agricultural science and technology. He also said that he hoped Yangling could enrich the modes of foreign-aid training, deepen the cooperation in modern agriculture with foreign countries, and explore new modes and experience of international cooperation in agriculture. Also, the construction of SCO agricultural base should be high quality so that SCO agricultural base could play a greater role in foreign exchanges in agriculture and expanding the country’s influence.
