According to an earlier announcement of China’s Ministry of Education, Northwest A&F University’s cooperation in the major of environmental science with the University of Arizona has been approved and the enrollment will kick off in the fall of 2020. This is the first 4+0 program launched by this university and its foreign counterpart and also the second Chinese-foreign cooperation in undergraduate program after its cooperation with the University of Nebraska Lincoln in 2015，which marks another great breakthrough in foreign exchange and also marks that its international education has developed further. Also, this university has took a solid step toward becoming a world leading agricultural university by launching Chinese-foreign cooperation to introduce high quality international education resources, conduct teaching and scientific research with foreign universities and implement its global strategy.
This four-year degree in environmental science provided by Northwest A&F University and University of Arizona is included in the enrollment plan of China’s regular higher education. Students will register in both two schools when they enter school and have Sino-U.S.double bachelor’s degree after graduation. And after studying in the Northwest A&F University for four years, they are also allowed to apply for studying further for a year and get a master degree in the University of Arizona.
