When you walk into Taizizang Village, which is located in Yangling Rougu Town in Shaanxi province, China, overlooking in the village and you will be attracted by 30 new greenhouses shaped like shells in the Yanglingquanjiang Farm. There is no busy figure in the field, but the clear water irrigates lush crops orderly.

Luo Xinlong, the person who is in charge of Yanglingquanjiang Farm said: “We have introduced advanced water and fertilizer integrated equipment from Israel and implemented intelligent control systems include AI and the Internet of Things to realize the irrigation of vegetables, fruits, seedlings and other crops in different kinds of environments."

In the north-west corner of the farm, newly constructed greenhouse is taking shape, which is the new program in 2019, specially built for tomato planting and all the seedling will be imported from Israel.

Yangling has the first national agricultural hi-tech industries demonstration zone. Orange from Australia, kiwi from New Zealand and coffee beans from Brazil, etc., have been planted in this field where breeds rich fruits.  

Thousands of kilometers away in Almaty, Kazakhstan, in the China-Kazakhstan demonstration zone of agricultural innovations in Turgen village, an agronomist from Kazakhstan, is looking after the corns in the field. "The Chinese varieties have high disease resistance and drought tolerance," he said, giving a thumbs-up as he looked at those rows of corn which nearly reach a man’s height.

In the past four years, Yangling demonstration zone has totally introduced 45 experimental varieties of six categories: wheat, corn, beans, rapeseed, vegetables and seedling in the China- Kazakhstan zone. Total planting areas reach 1467 Mu.
