Uzbek Agriculture Minister Jamshid Khodjaev suggested the structural changes in the global demand for agricultural commodities highlight a growing appetite for organic farm produce and green ecological products, which requires countries including Uzbekistan to strengthen cooperation in areas such as the scientific utilization of agricultural resources and the digitalization of agriculture so as to promote high-quality agricultural development.

This year’s summit included the exchange of experiences in developing modern agriculture and discussions over promoting agricultural cooperation within the Belt and Road Initiative and the SCO, which are believed to hold great importance to the Belt and Road construction as well as agricultural innovation and sustainable development worldwide.
